you can tell we had adhesion around the screws but there's some yellow showing directly underneath the lap ceiling showing not adhered another failure point d on the right side to allow further wood replacement

We ended up having to remove the skylight due to the significant amount of rot found once we opened it up

Here is screws that held the skylight down Zoom in on them Zoom in on them you will notice that they're rusting And yes they had butyl tape underneath the skylight so why did this occur Think about that

Nice we're finally getting down to the framing What a pain in the **** to get this scraped off the insulation and prepped for new sheeting

Just another view showing how bad the rot was Approximately a six by five area that had to be redecked and you could not step there unless you wanted to have a quick entrance into the RV

After

This is the cab over section This was approximately two foot by three foot area that started leaking and the plywood was delaminating inside so we went on and slice the roof open rolled it back Boy that's ugly isn't it with the yellow glue But we have a cure for that you'll see it in a minute

This area you see it's all sliced to hell We didn't think it was as bad as it really was but we got it The next two photos will show around the skylights flashing everything in

Man it blows me away how strong that yellow primer stands out in these photos

Here as you can tell we now have the 6 inch stripping done around all the seams where we sliced it all open to roll it back to do the repair to the decking and then around the skylight Believe it or not we do stand behind this but it's not gonna leak when we're done This would have been a $10,000 job all day long with everything that had to be done so even when a unit is it worth putting that kind of money in we can still do a repair in most cases

Unlike the ugly yellowness above the photos you just saw this is the finished product when we coat it with the silicone just really for looks reasons much nicer than the yellow from the images above

This here was a repair that we had to do up at the front of the cab where an accident that punctured the side wall next to the gutter That led to a very small what I thought was the worst of the project ended up being the easy part This just got epoxy poured all over the top of it in between them delaminations and re glued it and again doing that makes it way stronger than plywood even

Here you're seeing as we just finished up putting a CO commercial grade acrylic silicone coding down over the area that we cut and rolled back

Showing the decking that was replaced we still had a little bit of delamination on the right but we ended up using an epoxy to resecure what delamination was left that needed to be addressed and that actually is stronger than the new plywood today that we just installed
